Airocide at Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles, France, installed AIROCIDE to create a safer and cleaner environment for staff and visitors and to protect precious artefacts from harmful mould and fungus.
Listed as a World Heritage Site for 30 years, it is considered one of the greatest achievements in French 17th century art.

“This prestigious Airocide installation at the world-renowned Palace of Versailles is an excellent demonstration of the unparalleled efficacy of Airocide technology”.

“Museums are challenged with not just protecting their staff and visitors from harmful pathogens, but also with protecting their valuable art and other precious objects from mould and fungus. The Airocide air pathogen control technology is playing a mission-critical role for the museum by utilizing patented photocatalytic oxidation process to convert the organic material into a harmless vapor and clean air without realizing ozone or any other harmful byproducts.”

The Palace had very demanding requirements, especially regarding the protection of its vast art collection. After a thorough review of competitive products, they chose Airocide as their go-to solution for air purification.

Airocide Systems, developed by NASA use a patented combination of UVC and a proprietary, titanium dioxide based photocatalyst. Listed as an FDA Class II Medical device, the Airocide technology is clinically proven, and field tested to eradicate airborne bacteria and viruses including COVID 19 and other Volatile Organic Compounds – without releasing ozone or other harmful byproducts.
